Yeap, they’re both actually magnetic with chalkboard finish so you can use chalk or stick magnets on them

2 Weeks Notice

Today I called off… I’m exhausted. When I called in to explain I need a day off they flipped saying that I’m not being a “team player”. It’s funny how suddenly you’re not a team player when you decide for once that “today I’m going to take a break from eating it and smiling“

I’ve been working six days but only been getting paid for five. My anniversary is coming up and they denied my request for that day off. My brother is having his first child next month and this time I was denied time off because that’s when the “boss” wants to take their vacation. Under paid. Overworked. Unappreciated.

I’ve been feeling that this job has been eating me alive for more than a year now but I’ve been letting fear rule my life. Keeping me there… losing parts of who I am just to get a check. When did I become that guy? I was never that guy… when the hell did that happen?! You know… I just realized that since I got this job I’ve become only a shadow of myself. The watered down version. That ends. My new mission is to find a way to surround myself with the things I love.

Ok so with much resistances (procrastination) and encouragement (to put it politely) from someone close to me I’ve decided to cave and start a blog.

Before I even created an account I asked myself why even start one? The answer… honestly… I’m doing it for me. Share the world I see, my thoughts, ideas, words, creations, stuff I’m into, whatever I feel… and ultimately to find/accept myself through all of the above. I’m doing it because I love sharing inspiration and hopefully someone out there finds some from these words. I’m doing it because…
